I felt like this was a spoof of the original movie, which had a more mature script and excellent character dialogs. (BEWARE, some spoilers)

Several scenes were so unreal as to break the believability of the plot.

E.g. The two boys manage to start an original JP jeep that's been rotting in the jungle while being stalked by a killer dinosaur. They quickly trade out the battery with one that just luckily happened to be sitting on a shelf beside the Jeep also rotting in the jungle. First try, the engine turned over like a new BMW. Um right.

The love story here was so forced as to make me stick my finger down my throat at it's triteness. Apparently the entire budget went out for CGI.

E.g. Two main characters had previously been on one date, with both of them not liking it (she's a control freak, he's a care-free adventurer). The movies ends with them gazing into each other's eyes with him saying: "I guess we have to stick together....to survive!". Grausam, echt.

Worth seeing for the dinosaurs, although to be honest "Sammy the Turtle" blows the 3D here out of the water.
